Students whose primary language is other than English are given the IDEA assessment. The LPAC (Language Proficiency Assessment Committee) determines eligibility for the ESL Program and meets annually to discuss the progress of ESL students.  Members of this committee include an administrator, ESL teacher, regular education teacher, and a parent representative.

ESL students are served in the regular classroom by Denise Raz and Tammy Steinmann, certified ESL teachers. They are provided with a variety of language rich activities to strengthen their English language skills.
