Advisory Council:

State law requires each public school campus to form a team of staff members, parents, community and business partners to provide input in the campus planning process. The campus advisory council meets approximately once a month at a time that is convenient for all council members.

The members of the Sweet Home ISD campus advisory council are as follows:

     Paraprofessional staff member (2 yr cycle ending 2006): Anne Rowbotham

     Professional staff member (2 yr cycle ending 2006): Tammy Steinmann

     Professional staff member (2 yr cycle ending 2005): Melanie Mikes

     Professional staff member (2 yr cycle ending 2006): Doug Wozniak

     Business partner/citizen (2 yr cycle ending 2005):  John Reeves

     Administrator:  Randy Meyer

     Student leaders (2 students annual terms):  Bradley Talbert, Sarah Herbst, Alayna Henkes, Allyssa Brosch

     Parent nominated by principal (2 yr cycle ending 2005): Tara DeBord

     Parent who is PTO officer (annual term):  Shelly Webel

     Parent drawn out of pool of parents requesting to serve (2 yr cycle ending 2006):

Meetings are held quarterly (September, December, March, and June) usually at 5:00 p.m.  Anyone in the Sweet Home school community is invited to attend.  Anyone wishing to serve on the Campus Advisory Council, please call Jo Ann Bludau at 293-3221.

 

Health and Safety Advisory Council:

Parents who work in health services or law enforcement are strongly encouraged to be on this committee. Other parents who may not necessarily work in one of these fields but would like to be involved in decisions about the health and safety of children are also encouraged to join this committee.

Meetings are held quarterly (September, December, March, and May) usually at 6:00 p.m. Anyone in the Sweet Home school community is invited to attend.  Anyone wishing to serve on the Health and Safety Advisory Council, please call Jo Ann Bludau at 293-3221.
