A Message from the Superintendent

The Sweet Home Independent School District has been an innovative leader in education and has earned a good reputation for the quality of its educational program. We remain focused on moving each of our students to greater achievement levels in the years ahead.

As superintendent, I along with the Sweet Home ISD School Board are committed to providing opportunities for all students to be intellectually engaged and to experience a wide array of educational opportunities from the time they enter Sweet Home School through their graduation from eighth grade.

We appreciate and value the importance of helping each young person to succeed as a student and as an individual. Our teachers continually assess and refine instructional strategies to better meet the educational needs of all students. All teachers are committed to participating in professional development activities that bring the best and brightest ideas in education to our classrooms.

We recognize that in order to realize our goal of greater achievement levels for all students the role that parents play in the education of their children and the need for an active partnership between home and school is essential. Our doors are always open to you. If you ever have any questions or would just like to discuss our school we will be happy to take the time to visit.

We should be proud of the school we have established in the Sweet Home community.  We believe that through shared commitment and careful planning, coupled with a good accountability system, we can continue to build an even better educational program that challenges all of our students.
