The Sweet Home PTO Annual Chili Supper & Auction is scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2010, at the Sweet Home Community Center.

 Meals served in the hall or plates to go are from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. The meal consists of good ole homemade chili, pinto beans, cheese, bread, crackers, condiments, dessert, and tea. Large meal tickets are $6.00 and small meal tickets are $4.00. Presale tickets will be available at Yoakum National Bank and First State Bank of Yoakum for $6.00.  Also for sale will be sandwiches, hot dogs, snow cones, nachos, chips, sweets, and sodas.

Games will start at 5:00 pm. A variety of games including fish pond, cake walk, toy wheel, and several other ones will be lots of fun for kids of all ages.

A raffle is also being held now and at the event.  Prizes will be awarded to the lucky winners.  Contact any Sweet Home student or call the school at 293-3221 if you would like to purchase raffle or meal tickets early.

The action starts at 7:00 pm.  Many wonderful businesses and individuals have donated great items for the auction.  If you would like to donate an auction item, you may drop it off at the school or call to have someone pick it up. Any items will be appreciated.

All proceeds from this event go to the Sweet Home PTO which funds a student scholarship program, various school activities, materials, and help purchase new playground equipment which will be available for public enjoyment.

Everyone is welcome, so please come out and enjoy a great bowl of chili and fund activities for kids of all ages. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
