Sweet Home ISD's Pre-Kindergarten program is an optional educational service designed to help prepare our youngest students for the academic and social demands of the primary grades. We are proud to offer this opportunity to families within Sweet Home ISD as well as transfer students from neighboring communities.  We have space available! 

Program Overview:

• Tuition: Tuition for the 2026–2027 school year is $5,000, payable at $500 per month from August through May.
• First Payment: Due by the last business day of August.
• Monthly Payments: Beginning in September, payment is due by the second Tuesday of each month.
• Tuition Eligibility: Students who reside within Sweet Home ISD and qualify for free full-day Pre-Kindergarten under Texas eligibility guidelines will not be charged tuition.
• Age Requirement: Students must be four years old on or before September 1.
• Potty Training: Students are expected to be potty-trained prior to beginning school.
• Communication: Parents are expected to participate in and respond to regular communication from the classroom teacher.
• Snacks: Parents should provide a healthy mid-morning snack or may add funds to their child's meal account for the purchase of a snack from the cafeteria.
• Attendance & Conduct: Students are expected to meet district attendance expectations and follow the SHISD Student Code of Conduct, classroom procedures, and classroom rules.
