Sweet Home ISD

Beginning in the 2024 school year, students in Kindergarten through 8th grade will utilize the Texas Summit K-12 Dynamic Science Curriculum in their science classes. This science curriculum is innovative, engaging, hands-on, and designed by Texas educators for Texas students.

This curriculum embeds scientific and engineering practices, scientific phenomena, and recurring themes and concepts through hands-on investigations, virtual labs, and interactive classroom learning. Emphasizing academic vocabulary and science literacy, students receive high-quality instruction that pairs nicely with their Reading Language Arts curriculum.
